FEMALE TRAVELLERS: 5 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU FLY *

If you’re a female traveller, you’ve probably had to deal with lots of comments from people who don’t feel like it’s safe for females to travel alone. But why is it safe for men to do so? The truth is, there are only minor differences when men and women choose to travel alone. As women are far more sensitive to men and have often been victims of prejudice in the past, they can feel a need to show that they aren’t ‘stuck up’ or do things out of character. If…

SPRING PRAWN SALAD

The weather is brightening up which means when it comes to food there is always one thing on the top of my list… salad. I mean honestly salad is made for sunny days especially my spring prawn salad. This month I’ve been big on meal prep – so want to save money for all of the good things in life and buying…

LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CRAFT CHOCOLATES *

LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CRAFT CHOCOLATES *

Can you remember the last time you sat down with a decent box of chocolates?! Yep neither can I! There is so much sweet stuff on the shelves now with treat bags to share bars, however as my dad would always say ‘this is not real chocolate’ – in a really strong French accent. I suppose, being from France where the streets are filled with chocolatiers making craft chocolate bars and indulgent truffles he is right! The stuff we get from the shops is far less desirable than a handmade chocolate!…

TAKE YOUR TASTE-BUDS TO THE MIDDLE EAST WITH DESTINATION2*

As you can see by my Instagram and the majority of this blog, I enjoy food. Like a lot. Just give me the food, all of the food, all day long. I pride myself on being one of those people who will try anything once – as an adult I have now managed to make myself like numerous foods, such as olives, artichokes and aubergine, however I’ll still pass on the mushrooms and I’m not best friends with the good old tomato. I have been very lucky in my life…

IF YOU’RE WRITING A BLOG, YOU’RE RUNNING A BUSINESS

Writing a blog is one of the most satisfying things that you can do with your time, and the fact that a lot of people are able to actually make a living doing just that is pretty amazing. However, there’s one incredibly common mistake that a lot of people make when it comes to their blog. MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY – THINGS TO KNOW *

MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY – THINGS TO KNOW *

Moving across the country might not seem like a Herculean effort, particularly if you live in England, in which the North South divide can often be traversed end to end in a matter of seven or eight road hours. For that reason, it might not seem like you’ll need to consider a few behavioural habits to help you acclimatise to the new location. However, humans are such territorial creatures that moving your home base can often take quite a while to help you find comfort in. This is perfectly naturally,…

Held at the historical Victoria Baths, each pool playing a different part. First off was the taster room, I mean if you’re a fan of gin what better than a whole pool of the stuff. It started off in the female pool still with all of its original features with rustic changing stall with traditional stable doors!
