Happy Sunday my little elves… not many sleeps now hey! Who else is feeling tinsely and festive?! As usual its been a busy old few weeks and I am looking forward to relaxing over the holidays and taking a chill when the new year rolls in. I’ve had so much on that I didn’t even get to post an Autumn Edit last Sunday so here is 2 rolled into 1.
Last Sunday I missed the mark as was too busy in Manchester picking up my uncle and his family who have flown in from Kenya for the holidays. It is going to be so nice to celebrate with them and my nana is so chuffed to have a house full this Christmas .
It was the last gig of the season and what a performance to end it on! I absolutely LOVE Ben Howard and it was such a delight to take my bestie along with me. We had such a lovely evening starting with some mouth-watering Indian street food on Curry Mile, then off to the concert where we revelled in the O2 lounge before the show started. He has such an incredible voice and it was a very chilled one listening to his moody tones.
For a while now I’ve been dying to get out and partake in a new activity. Tai Chi has particularly stood out to me and I’ve wanted to zen the mind after this crazy year. Well, I had no idea what I let myself in for and little did I know I was joining in on a high intensity martial arts class . It was such good fun and I will definitely be going back so watch out for my moves.
My cousins and I headed up to the lakes in the frosty weather to take my nana out for a pre-Christmas dinner. We walked the dog in the bitter cold whilst keeping out balance on the ice then settled down for a pub lunch. It was so lovely to have us all together and just to see how happy my nana was made the sleeting adventure all worth the while.
We also have some fantastic Christmas competitions running over our socials and blog. You can win a spice selection worth over £85, cookbooks and a host of dog treats, with more to come in the next week. Give yourself something more to celebrate!
This is all finished off with footie by the fire with a homemade moussaka. Delish. Now to chill for another crazy week ahead.
Are you prepared for the festivities?
