Autumn is well underway so it’s officially time to hibernate right?! I wake up it’s dark, I go home it’s dark euugggghh. At least we get falling leaves, cosy jumpers and snuggle times! This week has been mega busy – I planned and taught my first lessons, had my first official observation and parents evening. Lets get on with the 7th instalment of the Autumn Edit to see what else has been going on.
This week I found my new fave Autumn dish!! Every Wednesday I cook for my aunt and uncle and was looking for a warm seasonal dish! I opted to put a twist on a traditional sag aloo and whipped one up using cauliflower and sweet potato. A great way to get the veggies in – This was served with coconut chicken and naan but will make a fab dish to add to my flask for lunch!
Friday night I was invited along to the pub with my school colleagues , which was lovely. I brought Max along with me which I think he thoroughly enjoyed. The weather was grim and it was dark so we popped on his flashing collar and a fancy bandana to impress. A few ciders down, I ordered a deli board and sunk into my chair in front of the fire. Lush!
On Saturday, I was invited over to Leeds to get festive with Moonpig at its #MerrierTogether event. What a fun-filled day it was, with mulled wine, and Christmas crafts like wreath making and personalised pressie sacks. I was even lucky enough to meet Santa!
How was your week?
