Always reaching for that 3 o’clock snack?, instead of grabbing a bag of crisps I will always opt for a bag of darling corn instead. Crisps get boring after a while not to mention they are pretty unhealthy and high in saturated fats. However sometimes if your on that health regime you need something starchy to keep you going. Darling corn is that mid afternoon bit of goodness that just takes the edge off till dinnertime. They are also high in fibre so beneficial for those on a weightloss plan. I am a fan of corn anyways, I’ll eat it out the tin, hot, cold or on the cob, and now I will eat it toasted and BBQ’d. These delicious little kernels are made within a loving family business which I always like. They are naturally flavoured with onion, garlic and paprika mixed together to give a great smokey BBQ taste. The thing I miss about crisps is the texture, so I like the fact that these corny kernels have a nice little crunch to them. They are also gluten free, contain no GMO’s and are suitable for vegetarians, so they make that perfect snack for everyone. They ahve two sized bags an 18g and a 40g, however I find the 40g a little too much for me and I can never finish the bag, no matter how delicious they are. If BBQ is not your flavour not to worry they also have seasalt, roasted jalapeno and smoked.
