In last weeks foodie news, we introduced you to Pure Chimps new matcha varieties, Coldpress’s fruity coconut water, Nakd bars lemon drizzle and Whitworth’s new superfood snack range. If you missed that post you can catch it here. Not much was going on in the world of our fave health brands. As usual it was all popping off in America. Like Ben & Jerry’s dairy free range. I ear you screaming why not here… well I do not know but I am fairly disappointed. Also Del Montes branch out into vegetti, clearly the spiraliser as only just reached the US.
FOODIE NEWS – GOOD GRAIN
Since the company was taken over their cereal has gone through a major re-brand. I actually like the clean, honest branding and think its suits the product. In addition to this there are now two new types of cereals that have been added to the range. Alongside the old favourite of puffed wheat, Good Grain multi-grain and Good Grain multi-grain cherry have joined the family. With so much attention on the breakfast market and the consumer need for a reduction of sugar and more natural ingredients, Good Grains have jumped on board. Looks tasty guys.
FOODIE NEWS – THE COLLECTIVE
So my mum is a total scavenger and its amazing. She loves going out wit er basket along the canal and picking as many fresh berries and fruits as she can. I think its blooming brilliant. There is always something fresh and juicy waiting. I love it when some or the rare fruits/berries get incorporated into everyday food. This is were The Collective come in. To me they are the luxury of yogurts and have a new flavour that combines four different ‘super berries’. That is boysenberries, raspberries, blackberries and açaí. Oh yeah superfood yogurt baby!
