Lolita Bonita


I am always on the go and forever searching for new ways to get that all needed energy boost! One that’s not full of rubbish, loaded with sugar or high in carbs! One thing that always worked as an energy booster for me, was a shot of matcha before the gym! I could run for hours! Indigo Herbs sent me some goodies and I was inspired to try my hand at some homemade matcha gummies – this way I could get me sweet fix and an energy boost at the same time! The best bit is there a four ingredients and it’s super simple! These can also been adapted to anything so maybe simmer some strawberry puree and replace for the matcha!

1 tbsp Agar flakes
2 tsp Matcha powder
240 ml water
1 tbsp maple syrup
A ice cube mould- I chose a cactus oneÂ đŸŒ”

Pour the water into the pan
Add the agar flakes
Leave the water to boil
Once at boiling point turn the water to a simmer and stir until the flakes have dissolved
Add the matcha powder and maple syrup and whisk until the powder had dissolved
Pour into moulds
Leave in the fridge until set
