It is that time of year again, where we dust off our suitcases, try on our bikinis and shop for a million pairs of sunglasses. I took my Summer holiday early this year as I had a family wedding to attend to in France. I always find it difficult to choose new products to take away on holiday. There are so many reviews, and so many blogger recommendations, that it can be hard to decide. So for this holiday essentials post, I actually took these items away to test their credibility.
It is only in recent years have I learnt the importance of wearing sun cream. As an olive baby, I thought I never burn and want to tan so they is no reason for sun cream. That is WRONG. There is always a reason for sun cream! It is something that needs to be applied often. However, no with the Riemann P20! At first I didn’t like the way it felt on my skin, however that soon wore off, an I was blown away by the protection and coverage it offered. Known as the once a day sunscreen, there is no reason to reapply. I even gave my leftovers to a friend heading out to Croatia, where it was over 30 degrees, and she can vouch too.
After any long journey, although you may be knackered, relaxation is not the easiest thing. My mind is still alive with passports and security control. A candle lit bath with the view of city is the perfect way to unwind. Olverum is a unique and luxurious aromatic blend of essential oils which combine to ease stress and relax tension in both mind and body, bringing you back to your complete and natural self. Giving you the perfect start to your holiday! Why not top that off a drift away with the new beauty sensation Spacemask.
Heading to a country full of garlic and red wine can take its toll. Especially as every time you meet someone you give them the old to pecks! That’s why it was super handy to have this portable mouth spray so I could freshen up before any meeting.
Although we now have free roaming in Europe. YES GUYS! I still found Cell Hire’s portable systems so beneficial to take away. Of course we have data roaming, but I take my laptop every where, and not every where is WiFi. I also love the fact that you can allow more than one device connected. Therefore at the wedding in the French countryside I was everyone’s best friend! As I am planning a trip to Morocco this is definitely something I am going to invest and take along with me. They are handbag friendly so you can have WiFi where ever I go.
In my mind no holiday is complete without a dozen pairs of sunglasses. However I am a sucker for breaking or loosing them so I never buy designer. Primark has to be the one and only one stop sunglasses shop! Whenever I pop in I always leave with another pair!
Of course there are many other holiday essentials to bring along, books, music, bikinis, camera etc, however these are little new things that made my holiday a whole lot easier!
