As you may well know by now, I am a water snob. I despise the taste of tap water, so I am always on the lookout for for something new, that I can use to hydrate myself or to go along with my delightful meals. I was contacted by new brand J F Rabbit to try some of their veg water. Excited to try something new I said yes straight away. ‘In a world of sugary, fruity drinks, they set out to buck the trend, inventing a new world of delicious healthy drinks using nothing but wonderful veg.’ These simple drinks are made with the best veg combinations to deliver a new fresh taste to the water world. When they arrived they came in the cutest illustrated little box, I loved this. With a bottle of each flavour. I absolutely adore the branding, all tied together with the inventing rabbit.
J F RABBIT VEG WATER : CUCUMBER
This flavour out of them all was by far my favourite. It was tasty and light, and very refreshing. To my surprise there was a celery flavoured aftertaste. I didn’t mind this at all as it added something different to the drink. I love cucumber water anyways so this was definitely a thumbs up.
J F RABBIT VEG WATER : GINGER
I have never really been a big fan of ginger at also I cant really say I was looking forward to this one. It was however a very natural flavour but did have a strong tinge of ginger – I guess that is what you would expect anyways. Coming from my partner it left a lovely aftertaste, so for a ginger lover this is the one.
J F RABBIT VEG WATER : BEETROOT
This was one was unusual on my taste buds as I have never tried beetroot water. I haven’t really even put beetroot in my smoothies. Yet this had that lovely earthy rustic flavour to it. It made a love accompaniment to my salad. SO this was a winner to me, especially for the taste of something different.
I did really enjoy these drink thoroughly. I liked the fact that they had an all natural flavour and weren’t overpowering in sweetness like a lot of flavoured waters. They are made simply with the juice of the vegetable, so you get a lot more flavour to them, then when you just infuse the water with veg. For anyone wanting to try something new I can highly recommend these guys.
