MAKING MOTHER’S DAY PERSONAL WITH STAMPIN UP *

As a child I can’t ever remember my mum forking out for a card. It was the perfect opportunity to keep us busy and quiet whilst creating something a bit more personal. Yeah things got messy and I had paint and glitter in my hair for weeks but it didn’t matter as there was just something more special about a home-made card.¬† Years later I still enjoy finding glitter everywhere. Joking, but I do enjoy sitting down with my craft box and zenning out and getting a bit artsy. With Mother’s Day just around the corner there’s no better time to start card making and thanks to Stampin Up I have some new bits to play with.

The greatest thing about these sets is that you don’t have to be the craftiest of people to design a beautiful card. Stampin Up provided me with a beautiful collection of floral and motto stamps along with some ink, pens and card to get making. It’s a nice way to make a lovely hand crafted card without massive amounts of effort. I whipped out the watercolours and popped on the low fi beats and got creative. In all honesty I was rather happy with how they turned out.

STAMPIN UP, CRAFT, HOMEMADE, HANDMADE, CARD MAKING,

They were really easy to use all I did was make a background out of my watercolours and then stamped away with some floral designs. I then added some sweet Mother’s Day mottos and the cards were complete. They have a whole range of designs that mark all occasions so if you want to try your hand at making something a bit more personal this is the way forward.
