Trying to get fitter, healthier and lose weight can take time. Some people spend hours in the gym to achieve this. However if you do not want to spend your life in the gym but still look good, then maybe these tips to increase workout effectiveness will work for you. Now I am no sort of personal trainer. However I have found that these things personally work for me. Especially as I am not one to spend forever working out. I want to bake, write and create too.

Obviously when you are starting out it is not healthy to go full in. That way you are likely to hurt yourself. I would choose something like cycling or running. Like I said I have seen people that literally spend their lifetime in the gym. I unfortunatley just dont have that time. However generally after 30-40 minutes the benefits arent that great. To work out for longer time you genereally lower the intensity. Therefore if you do a higher intensity for a shorter amount of time, that is going to lead to a more effective workout. Plus you will save time.
#3 Tips To Increase Workout Effectiveness : Do Something You Enjoy
You can not work out effectively if you are doing something you do not enjoy. Plus I doubt you will really stick to it. Its so much easier to gain motivation if you are enjoying what you are doing. Sooner or later you will start to look forward to it. For me personally its cycling. I like exploring places, going for picnics, and well everyone loves a good downhill.

It is known that if you want to lose weight, then you have to burn off more calories than you are eating. This generally ends up with some sort of diet plan. Thats when people cut certain things out of their diets. However I personally dont think carbs is the one to cut out. They provide you with energy and when doing high intensity workouts you need to refuel.

I am a sucker for this one. As people do not realise how much protein you need in your diet to help your muscles rebuild. If you dont get enough then you will not get as much from your workout, as your muscles also need protein to grow. Incorporate shakes, lean meat and eggs, pulses aswell as soy products into your diet.
6# Tips To Increase Workout Effectiveness : Water
Keeping hydrated is super important. Otherwise you can start to become ill. Just keep drinking throughout the day. My partner wakes up and drinks 2 litres in the morning, however I will sip through the day. Its takes a couple of hours to absorb so dont drink just before a workout.
7# Tips To Increase Workout Effectiveness : Hills
If you are a runner or a biker, once your used to your workout start to introduce an incline. This will increase effectiveness as hills will act as resistance making you stronger, and the intensity higher. Plus it will make your routes more exciting with good views.
